The Process

My classmate and I were tasked with creating a title/main-on-end sequence for our Motion 2 class final.

Our goal was to create a tactile, faux stop-motion style animation. We both had been fascinated by this style of animation, and wanted to experiment with it.

After we ideated the vision we had in mind for the project, we spent many hours cutting, ripping, crumbling, and scanning paper.

We then compiled each scene into After Effects, and added typography of the cast and crew’s names.
